Jalpa and Shivam were just taking a quick trip to the Main Library at Ohio State to return a book on a sunny Saturday afternoon in late December, over winter break. When they came out the front entrance onto the Oval, “MARRY ME” was spelled out in large block letters on the brick long walk. At first Jalpa laughed and thought it was a setup for someone else! It wasn’t until Shivam picked up the bouquet of flowers on the ground and presented them to her, that she realized it was all for her. Shivam dropped to one knee, pulled out a ring, and she said yes!
Afterwards some friends and family that were in on it came out to celebrate, and we continued with a few “just engaged” portraits around campus. Congratulations and happy wedding planning!
