Katie + Ben are married! Since their surprise prop Katie + Ben are married! Since their surprise proposal the winter before last, I’ve been counting down to their big day! Yesterday at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church and @thewestincolumbus, we had a sunny, classic celebration, from German Village to downtown. It’s been a privilege being a part of their big life moments and I can’t wait to see what’s next!
Today is many things, including: my birthday!! 🎉 Today is many things, including: my birthday!! 🎉 Today is also the anniversary of my very first wedding, 16 years ago! My friends trusted me to photograph their wedding and my world was forever changed. That version of me would never guess I’d be here today: over 450 weddings later, being a full time wedding photographer! I am so grateful to everyone who has supported me along the way. I definitely wouldn’t be here without you following my work, telling your friends about me, and hyping me up at every opportunity. Today is also a beautiful wedding day for my clients! I will be celebrating with wedding cake 🎂 And no worries, because I have bigger plans to make it all about me - tomorrow! 🥳

Why settle for one engagement session when you can Why settle for one engagement session when you can have two? Naomi + Luke were so inspired by the fall season, they opted to book a second engagement session! Last night, they invited me to her parents’ picturesque property in Centerburg, where we caught a rain sprinkle, pockets of golden hour, and our first glimpses of fall. The perfect kickoff to the busy fall season, I’m ready for it!

Today on the blog: a senior session for my nephew, Today on the blog: a senior session for my nephew, Ozzy! I’ve photographed this kid a lot over the years, but this time, this session was all about him. On the first Wednesday morning in September, he chose his first location as his grandparents’ house, and his second location as historic downtown Worthington. An outfit change in between, plus flowers, light, vine walls, brick, some serious stares, and some laughs we were able to pull out of him. We had a great time making these portraits together!
