One week ago today, Abbie + Dennis eloped! On a ra One week ago today, Abbie + Dennis eloped! On a rainy day in downtown Columbus, they were married at the courthouse, and we celebrated with portraits at @grange_audubon as the rain eventually cleared up. What a beautiful afternoon for these lovebirds who have been together 14 years!

Because on this sunny July morning, after 12 years together, Carl also brought along a ring… and overlooking the lake at Quarry Trails, he dropped to one knee and popped the question! Last week I had the pleasure of making her first portraits in her Dublin home, along with her mamas and her big bro (not pictured, probably running or jumping off a couch off-frame). Not to worry, we captured the chaos in many more photos. Hope lil sis is ready for it!

This packed day was in many parts: getting ready at home and at @hiltoncolumbus, their first look and portraits at the Community Gardens at Franklin Park, next their Catholic ceremony at St. Francis of Assisi, and finally their reception at the Wells Barn at @fpconservatory! Their big day included lush gardens, many twirls, golden hour, a surprise father-daughter breakout dance, a private final dance and a sparkler exit! All this and more is on the blog today. This morning at @fpconservatory! Justin took Zach This morning at @fpconservatory! Justin took Zach to a private glass blowing class at the Hot Shop! 🔥 They made a glass vase together, and at the end, stamped it with the words “Will You Marry Me?” Justin dropped to one knee, presented a ring, and Zach said YES! 💍 We celebrated with more portraits in the biomes! It was there, against the waterfall and with their pup Cooper, that he surprised her with a ring and popped the question! Rafaela became a Bat Mitzvah on Saturday at @beth_ Rafaela became a Bat Mitzvah on Saturday at @beth_tikvah! She is the first woman her family to do so, and she gave her Dvar Torah in both English and her native Portuguese. Mazel Tov!
