The last time I photographed Brian + Kris was at their 2018 wedding… then in summer of 2021, I heard from them with amazing news: they adopted a baby – Ezra! And let’s do some pictures together!! Their friend had gifted them the value of a portrait session with the photographer of their choice (how incredibly thoughtful!). So on a Thursday morning in mid-August, I joined them at their Westgate home for some first portraits of baby Ezra and all of them together as a family. Ezra was 2.5 months old and very wide-eyed and alert for much of our session, until the end when he fell asleep. We tired him out! Also being summer, we were able to end our session outdoors, on the front steps of their home.
At the time, the adoption was not yet official so they asked me to hold off on sharing right away. Well, the adoption became official last week and I received their blessing to share! Take a look at this beautiful little family!
