I absolutely loved every minute of Mickey + Danny’s wedding! I traveled up to Cleveland that morning, and my assistant Scott and I met up with them at their venue, Acacia Reservation. Growing up in Cleveland and just down the street, I remember many summer afternoons walking up the creek behind my home and sneaking into the golf club… now that it’s a MetroPark, it’s open to all! I was excited to shoot my first wedding here. The grounds are absolutely beautiful!
The other really fun part of this wedding for me was all the familiar faces! Mickey is the sister of a prior bride of mine, Maya, and the cousin of another prior bride of mine, Olivia! I got to see their husbands and also meet Maya and Reuven’s baby girl Elah, who made an appearance in many images. And a future bride Jannah – whose wedding I would shoot 2 weeks later – was in attendance also!
From start to finish, this Orthodox Jewish wedding was a party and a joy to document. Mazel Tov!!
