Rebecca + Joseph: Columbus Ohio Wedding at St. Andrew’s Church + Country Club at Muirfield Village

It was so much fun shooting Rebecca + Joseph’s September wedding! Like any wedding, there were some hiccups – Joseph experienced some food poisoning, and we dodged some rain throughout the day – but these two did not let it get in the way of enjoying their wedding! We had tons of fun traveling all over town for their wedding festivities and portraits!

My assistant Chris and I started our days separately with each side getting ready – the girls at the Hilton downtown, and the guys at a private residence. We eventually came together for their ceremony at St. Andrew’s Church in Upper Arlington. A few sprinkles appeared just time for their outdoor church exit, but gave us a great excuse to break out the cute umbrella! We then traveled with their wedding party to the Ohio Statehouse and German Village for portraits. We managed to stay away from rain and get lots of great outdoor portraits!

Upon our arrival at their reception venue, the Country Club at Muirfield Village, the storms returned for good, but this was perfect timing for their indoor party! Guests danced the night away and enjoyed treats at their endless cookie buffet. Rebecca + Joseph could not have been kinder or more amazing to work with! Congratulations!!

Amy Ann Photography

I aim to capture moments and expressions that tell the story of a day, and are authentic to the people involved. If you can look at a collection of images I’ve taken of a total stranger and get a feeling for who they are and what they felt, then I’ve done my job!
