Elise + David had the most high-energy, tradition-filled summer Jewish wedding at the Hilton Columbus Downtown! Their moms first introduced them, so naturally their day was full of family and love. And the level of dancing and celebration you’ll find at a Jewish wedding like theirs!
The couple did keep it simple: everything took place at their venue, no traveling off-site, and no wedding party! Between the two of them, they have plenty of siblings around to help. (I shot Elise’s sister Molly’s wedding at the same venue a few years back!) After each side was dressed, letters were exchanged, and we staged their First Look on the skywalk attached to the hotel. This is one of my favorite spots in all of Columbus for a first look! Their siblings & parents looked on from afar, and jumped in to help as needed, as explored the hotel for their wedding portraits. Luckily there are so many beautiful spots at the hotel, we don’t even need to jump outside!
After getting their family portraits out of the way, their wedding festivities were underway, with their kabbalat panim, tisch, bedeken and ketubah signing, followed by their wedding ceremony under the chuppah. So much energy, dance and laughter throughout! Celebrating continued at their reception with an extended hora, first dance, toasts and cake cutting. And then Elise had an outfit change! Mazel Tov to these two!!
