Club at Corazon Columbus Wedding: Jen + Adam

It was the last Saturday in April, but it sure felt like summer! Jen + Adam’s spring wedding was also my first time shooting at the Club at Corazon – and I absolutely loved it! We had a beautiful sunny day – maybe a bit hotter than any of us expected – and it ended with that amazing golden hour light. And as they made clear to me from our first meeting, this wedding was more than just celebrating their marriage, but the formation of their new family!

From getting ready, to first look, to the ceremony and celebration, their kiddos were with them every step of the way. They even helped us make one of Jen’s photo wishes a reality, throwing flower petals in the air! (Supplied to us by their florist, Orchard Lane Flowers, of course!) The architecture at the venue was a joy to photograph and the large pond made for a lovely ceremony backdrop.

Their reception was not formal at all, just a cake cutting and first dance, and then guests hung outside on the patio or danced inside. And of course a few sunset / golden hour portraits! A laid back and super fun day! Congratulations to Jen + Adam and their family!

I aim to capture moments and expressions that tell the story of a day, and are authentic to the people involved. If you can look at a collection of images I’ve taken of a total stranger and get a feeling for who they are and what they felt, then I’ve done my job!
