Inniswood Gardens Spring Engagement: Emily + Ryan

After their surprise proposal last fall, I could not wait for Emily + Ryan’s engagement session! Chilly and in between storms, we went for it a few weeks ago! After several reschedules, Emily + Ryan were done rescheduling, so they embraced the weather and took advantage of an empty park full of blooms at Inniswood Gardens in Westerville. Their engagement session was as warm and happy as they are! The fields of daffodils were so bright and cheery… and coincidentally, they brought along a yellow umbrella in case of rain, and it did sprinkle on us briefly! I love that these two made the best of whatever came their way!

But given the muddy grounds, they decided to leave the pup at home, so I invited them over to my home for a quick micro session with their pup a couple weeks later!

I aim to capture moments and expressions that tell the story of a day, and are authentic to the people involved. If you can look at a collection of images I’ve taken of a total stranger and get a feeling for who they are and what they felt, then I’ve done my job!

    Simply stunning, Amy!

I cannot wait to see what you do with the wedding. Do you also do family photo sessions? This is our last year as a family of six and I’d love to have one last photo done.
