Ann + Connor waited an extra 10 months to get married! As the pandemic hit last year, they postponed their May 2020 to March 2021. On the last Saturday in March, they had an intimate ceremony and dinner party with their closest people. It may have been March, but the universe gave them a day that sure felt like May!
With the pandemic still ongoing, they did make some changes – cut their guest list, and made their reception just a dinner party rather than a full celebration as original planned. But they didn’t want to wait any longer to finally get married! They had their micro ceremony at Strongwater, their venue all along, and held their dinner reception at Brookside Golf Club in Worthington, a place Connor’s family has spent a lot time at over the years. So it very much felt like a family celebration.
In between, took a little walk around Strongwater for some Franklinton portraits, followed by a stop at Scioto Mile to get the Columbus skyline and some spring blooms! After dinner, cake cutting and toasts, we ended our time together with some sunset photos!
Ann + Connor do hope to hold their bigger reception in the future, but in the meantime, this was a beautiful way to make it official and celebrate!
