It’s 2020, you literally don’t have to follow any rules! Plan your micro wedding in a couple weeks, get married on a Wednesday, and eat pizza to celebrate! That’s exactly what Maya + John did two weeks ago!
After the couple had to postpone their April wedding in Chicago, they realized that they and both sides of their families would coincidentally be in Columbus on the same day – a Wednesday in mid-September. And so the idea for their micro wedding was born, just a couple weeks prior! A small group gathered at Franklin Park for their wedding ceremony, followed by a backyard celebration at Maya’s parents’ home in Bexley with pizza, cake and champagne.
