This was supposed to be a session celebrating Mary + Roger’s upcoming 34th wedding anniversary, but that evening pup Macy stole the spotlight! Their children purchased this session for the couple as a Father’s Day gift and they just happened to scheduled it right around the couple’s anniversary. Anniversary sessions need to be more of a thing, right?! We met up at High Banks Metro Park on a perfect summer evening, a Thursday in mid-July. I couldn’t help but laugh when they told met they had seven children! Because you would think their furbaby Macy was the center of their universe now that their kids are grown. Mary, Roger and Macy were a joy to photograph!
