It’s been three years since I shot Ashley + Mike’s Cincinnati wedding. We’ve stayed in touch since, and when Ashley reached out to share the news that she and Mike were expecting, I was so thrilled for them! And I was even more thrilled when they asked me to return to Cincinnati to shoot their maternity portraits. They’ve been through a lot to get to this point, it was a huge honor to capture this moment for the two of them and their family. And I loved returning to their wedding venue for their session!
It was a very cold Sunday morning in January when we met up at the Pinecroft at Crosley Estate. There were even a few snowflakes in the air! Luckily, we had access to inside the mansion, so we take breaks from the cold with some indoor portraits. So we basically ran back and forth, outside to inside, begged the kids for smiles, toughed through the 15 degree temps, and we even got through 3 different outfit changes!
Now I’m hoping the timing of baby’s arrival works out that I get to meet them on my next Cincy visit!
