Cody was worried Cortnie would be hard to surprise, but on a Sunday evening in mid-August, he pulled it off! After a nice dinner to celebrate her upcoming graduation, they went for a walk along the Scioto Mile at dusk, where he dropped to one knee with a ring, and then I sprung out with my camera to capture the moment! Then I joined them for the rest of the walk, exploring the area as the sky turned dark. In aiming to preserve the feel of the night, I shot most of these with all natural/available light. Congratulations to these two!
