Meghan + Cory came to me from prior wedding clients Jamie + Mel, so I knew I’d like them right away! Their frigidly cold engagement session earlier this year showed me they were willing to tough through anything for the pictures! And sure enough, they went from 19° at their engagement session to over 90° at their wedding!
Their day started at St Brigid of Kildare church in Dublin, where each side got their finishing touches completed just before the Catholic ceremony. These two did not see each other before the ceremony, so it was an emotional moment when Cory saw Meghan for the first time, escorted down the aisle by her son and her father. After they exited the aisle, their friends and family greeted them for an outdoor exit! We then spent some time doing portraits with their wedding party on the grounds of the church. This church has some of the pretty spots for portraits!
From there, we headed to their reception venue, the Country Club at Muirfield Village, for additional portraits before the couple joined their guests for cocktail hour. At their reception, guests enjoyed dinner with a Celtic band providing the music! This was followed by toasts, formal dances, cake cutting and a bouquet toss, before the dance floor opened for dancing for the rest of the evening. Meghan and Cory even obliged me for a few golden hour portraits in the setting sun. Congratulations to these two!
