When it came to popping the question to Ilyssa, Jared didn’t plan a simple proposal. He planned an adventure – complete with a scavenger hunt all over the city, navigated by limo, and meeting friends and family at every stop! By the time they arrived to their final destination – the Scioto Mile – Ilyssa was in a limo full of her favorite people, and Jared was here to greet her. I was here too, to capture the moment when Jared got down to one knee against the backdrop of the downtown Columbus skyline. And she said YES!
It was also a SUPER hot and sunny day at 93°! So we didn’t waste much time finding some shade afterwards to cool off. After some fun “just engaged” portraits elsewhere at Scioto Mile, Ilyssa + Jared jumped back into the limo and headed to their after party.
At the party, they were greeted by family and friends on both sides, as well as treats, some bubbly and lots of selfies. Congratulations to these two and happy wedding planning!!
