2015 was another packed year full of special moments captured! It was also my busiest yet. We started the year with baby Rachel’s newborn session in early January, and ended with Katie + Shanaka’s Hocking Hills wedding the day after Christmas. In all, I shot 34 weddings (the most ever!), 2 b’nai mitzvahs, 39 engagements, 7 surprise proposals, 8 newborns, and lots more families and events sprinkled in throughout! I had the opportunity to travel also, with weddings all over Ohio in Cleveland, Cincinnati, Youngstown and Akron. And not to mention, my 2 week trip to Hawaii!
This year was special in particular, because for many of my couples, the dream of becoming legally married became a reality, when the U.S. Supreme Court made same-sex marraige legal across the nation in June. As a result, I had a bunch of last minute wedding bookings later in the year! It was a privilege to document these very special weddings.
It was so much fun taking a look back, in putting together my end-of-year post! What an amazing year it was. Thank you to my fantastic clients for being a part of it!
