Victoria + Naum’s summer engagement in downtown Columbus was a total blast! On a quiet Tuesday evening in early August, we visited the Arena District – a spot often overlooked but lends itself so well to pictures. We started at North Bank Park, taking advantage of the architecture of the pavilion there, the fountains, the greenery and also the fantastic view of the Columbus skyline. From there, we explored nearby streets, finding interesting buildings and encountering lots of amazing light as the sun set. At the end, we discovered an amazing empty parking lot, surrounded by brick buildings and full of that beautiful golden hour light – I couldn’t have planned it better!
I am so, so excited to be traveling with Victoria + Naum to the Dominican Republic next April to photograph their wedding celebration! I have traveled quite a bit to shoot various weddings, but this will be my very first Caribbean destination wedding!!
