I had so much fun participating in my very first styled shoot! I was invited by Joy at State of Face Makeup Artistry, and I just loved all the ideas and eagerly jumped on board. An incredible team of local wedding vendors were assembled to make this a success! It was a chilly Sunday afternoon in late March, and after a few indoor shots at Trousseau Bridal, our models Saundrine, Rose and Kallista battled wind and cold temps to pull off some amazing outdoor shots all around downtown Powell. The style was impeccable – the gowns were gorgeous, hair and makeup was perfect, and the paper blooms blew me away! The models were so much fun to work with. I especially enjoyed the experience because I got to work with some vendors I really love and whose work I admire, and I had the opportunity to try out some different shooting styles and lighting techniques! (My hubby Spencer was a huge help with lighting!)
