From their surprise proposal 2 years ago at Goodale Park, to their recent German Village engagement, and now arriving at their brunch wedding reception at the High Line Car house in October, it’s been amazing to get to know Christina + Chris, and photograph the different milestones in their journey. In early October, they traveled to Seattle to be legally married. Well if they can’t do it in Ohio (yet!), they sure picked a great place to make it happen! (A visit to Seattle is definitely on my bucket list.) They honeymooned in Seattle for the rest of the week, then returned to Columbus to celebrate with their friends and family that weekend.
But before it was time to party, Christina and Chris started with some early morning portraits around town! It was a Sunday morning in mid-October, around 8am – it was cold and quiet in the Short North/Arena District neighborhood, as you might imagine. They were freezing but we had beautiful light and they toughed it out to take advantage of it! Afterwards we headed to the High Line Car House where Christina and Chris greeted their guests at their brunch reception. The details were amazing – crossword puzzles anyone?! – and the brunch food was absolutely delicious. It was such a pleasure being a part of this very special Sunday morning celebrating with Christina and Chris!
