A few months ago, my friend Amy had told me: “When David pops the question, I want you to photograph it!” Luckily, David knew his girl well enough to give me call when he was ready to do it. We also enlisted our mutual friend Wendy (remember her engagement?) to convince her to go for a walk at the Whetstone Park of Roses. Even in the rain, Amy agreed, I hid behind a rose bush, and David got down on one knee and asked Amy to marry him. Of course she said yes! The rain picked up a bit and we returned 2 nights later for some sunny portraits back at the Park of Roses. I’ve never seen the park look so beautiful!
