Jennifer and Eric wanted a downtown, urban look for their engagment photos, so I took them to the Arena District! I love this part of town, because there is so much pretty architecture, and brick at every turn! I consider it to be a bit of a hidden gem for portraits, with so many other popular neighborhoods always stealing the spotlight. On this August evening, the crowds were tied up at a Clippers baseball game and a show at the LC, so the streets were relatively empty – apart from a mean game of frisbee at Arch Park! The light was beautiful too, and we were fortunate to use for quite a few dramatic silhouetted shots. Jennifer + Eric’s wedding is in THREE WEEKS!! Can’t wait!
