I was so thrilled to be asked by Lydia to capture her surprise proposal to her longtime love, Jess! This couple has gone through a lot throughout their relationship, and most recently Jess moved to Columbus to be with Lydia. One of her favorite places in her new city is Franklin Park Conservatory, so Lydia knew the perfect spot to pop the question! We met earlier that week to identify the spot, and then I tried to clear out the space as best as I could before Lydia led Jess to it. As Lydia dropped to one knee, everyone in the Pacific Island Garden Room watched and cheered as Jess said yes! Then we explored the space a bit for a few portraits. Congratulations to Lydia + Jess!!!
