Marissa + Alex: Columbus Ohio Via Vecchia Wedding

Marissa + Alex had the most perfect summer wedding! Their wedding party was super fun, and their reception was full of killer dance moves. Everything went off without a hitch and we had the greatest time spending the day with them!

Their day started at Marissa’s parents’ home in New Albany, where the girls got ready and got dressed for the day. We continued to the Church of the Resurrection, for their early afternoon ceremony, followed by their outdoor exit greeted by all their guests. With their ceremony earlier in the day and their evening reception, we had plenty of time for portraits. We traveled downtown to the Ohio Statehouse and Arena District in their limo with their wedding party for portraits. It was a hot and muggy day, but everyone toughed through it! We ended with portraits at their venue, Via Vecchia, in the Brewery District.

Their reception at Via Vecchia was full of laughter and excitement – some of the most rockin’ dancing I’ve ever seen! This group sure knew how to celebrate! Congratulations to Marissa + Alex!!

Amy Ann Photography

I aim to capture moments and expressions that tell the story of a day, and are authentic to the people involved. If you can look at a collection of images I’ve taken of a total stranger and get a feeling for who they are and what they felt, then I’ve done my job!
