It’s been an excellent week for those of us who lo It’s been an excellent week for those of us who love space and love photography! And it also happened to be the anniversary of one very special wedding of mine: this solar eclipse wedding! 🌙 Two years ago, Douglas + Jeff planned their wedding around it, watching the eclipse in full totality at @retreat21venue and getting married just as light returned. I will probably share this wedding this time every year until the end of time!

It was 31°, but I bet you can’t tell in this photo! It was worth the cold temps to get the blooms and the light, on the 6 month anniversary of their engagement!

For their morning engagement session, we started at the spot where they first met, and then found all the blooms at Goodale Park! These two were not scared off by the forecast (which was wrong), and they were down to find all the color! 🌈

Devin + Jesse were married yesterday in Dayton! My Devin + Jesse were married yesterday in Dayton! My first time at @steamplantdayton, it was a sunny and sweet day for these two beautiful souls and their people. There was so much love in the room! And when I offer you the chance to leave the reception for some quick golden hour shots, it’s always worth it! ✨
When you schedule an engagement for late February, When you schedule an engagement for late February, you cross all your fingers and toes for some snow – and we got it! Olivia + Hannah chose Inniswood Gardens Metro Park as the backdrop for their winter engagement, and we lucked with a snowy morning and the park all to ourselves!
