Every detail was on point, but more than that, their big day celebrated their journeys, living authentically, and being with their people who love and support them most. It was the most colorful and joyous day!
Celine + Andrew, married yesterday at the @columbu Celine + Andrew, married yesterday at the @columbuszoo! We had a beautiful, sunny day, and the park was so quiet on a Friday, it felt like we had many spaces all to ourselves! We met many animals throughout the day but the couple’s top must-have portrait spot was the carousel. And this wedding was a destination one of sorts, as the couple lives in Cleveland but just loves our zoo so much, they had to get married here! Congratulations!

And today is a milestone one.. it’s my 40th! Another special thing about my birthday, it’s also my work anniversary. 14 years ago today I photographed my first wedding! From getting ready at their home, to their Quaker ceremony at @fpconservatory, and beneath umbrellas in between, they didn’t mind getting a little wet!
