Sarah + Mark kicked off my fall wedding season, in Cincinnati! It was a hot, colorful, sweet day with many familiar faces on Saturday of Labor Day weekend! Sarah is the sister of one of my prior grooms, Chris, and I’ll never forget when she approached me at Katie + Scott’s 2021 wedding and we were looking at dates. Now it was finally here!
I began my day with Mark at his brother’s house as he and his groomsmen got ready. From there, I met Sarah and her bridesmaids at their venue, The Monastery, a gorgeous church turned wedding venue in Mt Adams. Once her side was ready, we did separate portraits with both sides before the ceremony. I absolutely loved the various colors of her bridesmaids dresses! I am a sucker for color!
These two did not see each other until the ceremony, so obviously that was a moment! Afterwards, they hopped on a bus with their wedding party and headed down the road to Eden Park for portraits. We had beautiful evening light and I couldn’t get enough!
We then returned to the venue to celebration at their reception! Intros, toasts, dinner, cake cutting and first dances followed. And then we danced the night away! Congrats to the newlyweds!
