Nearly 6 years ago, I photographed Dana + Alisha’s wedding… and that’s where I first met Dana’s sister Christa! Now Christa is engaged to Rachel, and I get to photograph their love! For their engagement session, they brought me up to where they live in Cleveland. It was a sunny Tuesday evening in mid April, we lucked out with a picture perfect day.
We began our time at their Lakewood home, where their pup Penny hammed it up for the camera (and maybe got a little spooked by it). From there, took a trip to at Terrestrial Brewing for a beer overlooking the lake, and we also stopped a random pink blooming tree I saw on the side of the road! We ended our time at my favorite spot in Cleveland, a tiny beach over at Edgewater Park. We arrived there just as golden hour was setting in, and we got the warmest, most delicious light of the evening there. Christa and Rachel even took their shoes off and dipped their toes in the sand – and briefly, in the water too! (it was freezing)
I can’t wait to return to Cleveland for their July wedding!
