This year, the fall color came unusually late. The whole month of October we waited impatiently for the colors to turn, but finally, when it came time for Leigh + Raphael’s engagement session, it was like BAM! Pretty leaves everywhere, plus golden hour light, I was living for it! Of course, they also picked one of my favorite locations to shoot in, especially in the fall – German Village. We met up at Schiller Park on the last Tuesday evening in October. We explored the park and then quickly crossed the streets into the German Village neighborhood. The golden hour light peaked between the leaves and between the brick homes, and it was perfection. Can’t wait to see these two again for their September 2022 wedding!
