Lola + Kaylee currently living in Alabama, but they were visiting Columbus for a few days, to see if maybe our town could be their next home! Lola reached out to me a few weeks prior with a plan to propose at the Park of Roses. We made a plan, and I was there waiting on a Thursday morning in late July, just after some rain had just passed through.
They walked together to the spot, where Lola got down on one knee and proposed, and Kaylee said yes! But then it was our turn to be surprised. We had no idea that Kaylee ALSO planned to propose there, at the Park of Roses, that morning! So next she produced a ring of her own, also got down on one knee, and proposed right back!
A DOUBLE PROPOSAL! I don’t think I’ll ever be over this moment!!!
Afterwards, we basically had the park to ourselves as we celebrated with some super cute “just engaged” portraits.
Did I mention these two are high school sweethearts? I absolutely loved being a part of this moment for Lola and Kaylee, and I loved being surprised too!
