We dreamed of this session for over a year. Kayla + Jessyka first reached out to me to chat about their wedding back in November 2019! They’re planning a long engagement, so we had to wait a bit before we finally got to shoot together. But their spring engagement was worth the wait!
I headed down to Cincinnati on a Tuesday evening in late April. As soon as I arrived, there was a surprise rain shower! Luckily these two took it in stride, even showed up with their own cute clear umbrellas, ready to go. Soon the rain cleared, and we continued with photos in Clifton, where we found lots of cute alleys, colorful buildings, and stopped by the location where they first met.
Then we headed to Eden Park for more spring photos! And wouldn’t you know it, we were graced with a rainbow at the overlook. It was MAGIC. It felt like were floating on air for the rest of the session, as we photographed by every flowering tree we could find. I honestly didn’t want the session to end. Can’t wait to see these two again at their July 2022 wedding!
