🎉 T E N Y E A R S 🎉
This year, 2020, marked my 10th year in business. My very first wedding was actually on October 3, 2010 (hey, Kate + Zach!) and it was also my birthday! This year I spent that same day shooting another wedding (hey, Mallary + Conor!) and the rest of the month was so super packed, I never had the chance to really make a thing of it. In normal times, I might have had a little open house at my office to celebrate, but this year this post will have to do. (and it’s a long one…)
I’ve said it many times, that this year was unlike any other. I had many unique weddings lined up for this year, and most did not happen. I had 14 weddings reschedule to 2021! Meanwhile, many weddings that did stay on reimagined their days, and new clients came along and got married in safer, intimate settings. I actually ended up shooting 11 weddings in the month of October!
Ten years ago, I could never imagined a year like this – not just how different it was, but just being a full time wedding photographer alone! Over 250 weddings later, I’ve come a long way. Inclusivity has been the mission of my work from day one, and I continue to work towards that every day. Looking forward to continuing to document memories for the next decade and beyond!
Thanks to your continued support of course. Everyone who has followed my work over the years – liking my photos, sharing my name with your friends, being my cheerleader, booking me for milestones year after year – I couldn’t have made it this far without you! Thank you.
And if you made it this far, you’re the best.
Here are some photos of me at work over the years!
