As soon as our Zoom meeting began, I knew I had hit it off with Meredith + Nick. Our chat was filled lots of tangents and laughs, and after the meeting I found myself thinking, “well if they don’t book me, at least we should be friends!” Luckily, they had similar feelings and chose me to be their wedding photographer! For their engagement session, they brought me to Westgate Park, the neighborhood where they live, and it was my first time here. There I found a lovely community park, including a gem of a mural, super colorful and vibrant. We also had some beautiful evening light there!
Afterwards we headed down the road to Franklinton, where we put our names in for a table on the rooftop patio at BrewDog. While waiting to be called, we explored the surrounding block for more fun murals, alleys and light. We happened upon a OSU/Michigan mural that was a perfect fit for this house-divided couple! Finally, we got our table at BrewDog right at sunset, watching golden hour over the Columbus skyline over a couple of beers. At some point I put my camera down and we chatted more about the two of them, their wedding plans and just life in general. It was lovely evening with these two, and I cannot wait for their May 2021 wedding!
Love the pictures. They are a good looking couple! I especially like the U of M, OSU background and the sports reference because they are a sports loving couple.
Great job, Amy Ann! We love the pictures. We have known Meredith for a long time and are so happy she is marrying Nick and also happy that she found a great photographer 🙂
Beautiful pics of this beautiful couple. Their happiness just pops out of each picture. I enjoyed each one!
