It’s been almost 4 years since Marissa + Morgan’s August 2016 wedding, and I love nothing more than continuing to document their future life events! So I was pretty thrilled to hear from them when they shared the news that they were expecting a little one this spring. Of course, the global pandemic did prevent us from shooting their newborn session right away, when Sloane arrived in early April. But luckily my clients waited it out and they were my very first session scheduled when the lockdown was lifted! It was so wonderful to get back out there shooting again. I met up with this little family two weeks ago, on a Wednesday afternoon at their Westerville home. With safety in mind, we shot primarily outdoors, but got a few shots in the nursery as well. I loved catching up with Marissa and Morgan and meeting their little one!
