Cynthea + Sylvester’s Columbus Zoo wedding was just about 5 years ago, when I heard from them, wanting to do a couples session! While it seemed like the original intention was just to get some updated portraits together, the timing worked out perfectly that we were so close to their wedding anniversary. For their session, we returned to the spot they got married, but this time got to do all the exploring we could want, more than what’s possible on a typical wedding day! Plus it was a rainy and windy morning (but pretty warm!) in mid-January, so the place was pretty empty and we felt like we had it to ourselves! Cynthea and Sylvester now live out of state, so it was especially nice to see them again and catch up!
