It was a beautifully sunny Sunday afternoon in early May when I headed downtown to photograph Milton’s surprise proposal to Mandy! All she knew was that he had arranged for a portrait session for the two of them. The perfect plan to get her to look her best – and also not exactly untrue! I waited for the two of them to show up at the Scioto Mile overlooking the Columbus skyline. Mandy arrived blindfolded and Milton lead her to the spot. Once she removed the blindfold, he was already down on one knee! She said yes, and members of their families from both sides came out from hiding! From there, we celebrated with more portraits at Scioto Mile and German Village, before they met back up with family for a celebratory dinner. Congratulations the newly engaged Mandy + Milton!
