Almost 3 years ago, I photographed Emily and Jillian’s wedding, so it was such an honor to be invited back to capture this next chapter: the arrival of baby Simone. We actually tried to squeeze in a last-minute maternity session before she was due, but she surprised us all by arriving 2 weeks early! I photographed her newborn session the first Friday in May. It had been raining on and off that morning, which actually made for a cozy indoor session in their sweet home. We were joined by their two pups and two cats (though I think one was hiding), and once the rain cleared we hopped to their backyard for some pictures with their 5 chickens! I even got to hold a chicken myself after the session, and Emily and Jillian sent me home with some fresh eggs. My heart is so happy from capturing this beautiful little family!
