In the month of December, I had the opportunity to reconnect with 3 of my past wedding clients, as they all welcomed their first babies and invited me to capture their first portraits! It had been a few years since I’d photographed Marissa + Alex’s August 2015 wedding in downtown Columbus, and I didn’t have to go far for their newborn session. As they were just about to embark on a cross-country move, at this time they were based at Marissa’s parents’ home in New Albany. Liam was a dream to work with, and his nursery was a bright space with neutral tones – an ideal backdrop for his first portraits. As it was just before the holidays, we ended with a few portraits by the Christmas tree, and with some pup cameos. Good luck to this little family on their next adventure!
