Today’s a holiday, but as I’m finishing up this sweet wedding, I couldn’t help but share! (Plus my family does not celebrate this holiday apart from traditional Chinese food!) Sara + Alec had the perfect late September wedding at Brookshire in Delaware, OH. In fact, what do they say about September 29 being the “perfect date”? Miss Congeniality sure knew what she was talking about.
Sarah and Alec kept things simple, with all events taking place at their venue, and even opted for a first look so we could get all their pictures out of the way before the ceremony. By the time their outdoor ceremony rolled around, the sun was beginning to set and we had the most perfect light! It really made for some dreamy pictures. And after they had a bite to eat at their reception, Sarah and Alec totally took me up for some sunset pictures for just the two of them.
We ended the night ditching the party for a few minutes for some awesome night shots outside – one using some fancy lighting, and another where they got cozy by the fire and that’s all the light we used. Their day could not have been better, and working with them and their families was simply a dream. Congratulations!!
