Dan + Joe were a recent addition to my summer 2018 wedding calendar, and I couldn’t be more excited to work with them! When it came to their engagement session, Dan and Joe knew two things for sure: their pup Riley was joining for a few shots, and we’d visit the Grass Skirt Tiki Lounge in downtown Columbus for Hawaiian drinks. Very quickly we found ourselves bonding over shared interests, including our love for Hawaii – it was beginning to feel more like hanging out with friends!
To round out the session, we left the bar and explored the nearby neighborhood, where I discovered a number of interesting spots, including the most perfect rainbow mural! (I would love to say I planned that all along!) We also chased golden hour light everywhere we went. I had such a great time shooting with these guys, and I am so excited to shoot their wedding, one month from tomorrow!
