From our first meeting, Brian + Kris knew exactly where they wanted to go for their engagement session: just outside their front door into their Olde Towne East neighborhood. I, of course, loved the idea of shooting in the part of town they call home, since it is so special to them. And I also loved shooting in Olde Towne East because I hadn’t had the opportunity yet! I love to visit the neighborhood on my own time, and I always hoped I would have clients ask to shoot there soon. We started at a neighborhood landmark: Yellow Brick Pizza, where Brian and Kris shared some beers on the patio, before we headed out to explore the neighborhood. We found some great evening light, too! It was a hot summer night but these two were troopers. I am so excited for their downtown wedding next spring!
