Molly + Derek’s Hilton Columbus Downtown wedding was a blast from start to finish! The day was packed with lively events, song and dance, and so much love between each other, their families and all their 360 guests!
All their wedding events took place at the Hilton, which has an amazing space for events, but also portraits too! My assistant Chris and I split up to begin, I started with Molly’s side and Chris hung out with Derek’s side. After both sides were dressed and the couple exchanged letters, we came together at their First Look on the skywalk connecting the Hilton and Convention Center. This is one of my all-time favorite spots for portraits in Columbus, so I was thrilled to have their first look there! Afterwards we got all their portraits out of the way, including lots of pictures with their huge wedding party!
Afterwards guests gathered in the event spaces for the various pre-ceremony events: the guys in the tisch, and the girls in the kabbalat panim. These events culminated with both sides coming together for a bedeken, followed by the ketubah signing. The ceremony followed in the main ballroom, where Molly and Derek were married under one of the most gorgeous chuppahs I’ve ever seen!
And next was the celebration, with a huge, energetic hora, and reception events including some very hilarious toasts from all their siblings. Conspiracy Band kept the dance floor rocking well into the night! Mazel Tov to Molly and Derek, your wedding was an absolute pleasure to capture!
