I shoot so many weddings, that it is so much fun when I get the chance to capture other milestones in people’s lives. Maternity happens to be a top favorite of mine! I just love capturing that time when two people are getting ready to expand their family. Though we never met before our session, I happen to have so many mutual friends in common with Melissa and Taylor, that it really felt like making new friends during our shoot! We met up on a beautiful Tuesday evening in late May, after a couple rain reschedules. We shot at Jeffery Park, one of my favorite locations in Columbus, since it has such a diverse amount of backdrops in a rather small space. We had brick, stone, a lush forest and plenty of colorful spring blooms to work with. We even encountered a couple friendly deer during our session! I loved getting to know Melissa and Taylor better, and I am looking forward to meeting their baby boy, hopefully later this month!
