Sara + Aaron: Columbus Ohio Wedding at Via Vecchia Winery

It was a warm Saturday in mid-June when the city of Columbus came together for Pride, and down the street, Sara and Aaron celebrated their own love! My assistant Stephanie and I began our day separately: Stephanie with the guys at their Clintonville home, and I started with the girls getting ready at the Renaissance hotel in downtown Columbus. We got some separates portraits out of the way before heading to the venue for the events of the day to begin!

Via Vecchia Winery is one of my favorite venues in Columbus, I just love shooting there! Sara and Aaron opted not to see each other before the ceremony, so Sara’s walk down the aisle didn’t leave dry eye between the two of them, not to mention the crowd! Their ceremony, taking place in the urban alley beside their venue, was sweet and full of laughs.

Following the ceremony, we took advantage of the lovely evening light for portraits in the area around Via Vecchia. There’s a lot right there, so we didn’t have to go far! Their festivities continued inside, with Midwest DJ Pro keeping the party rocking all night. And I just loved seeing so many familiar faces from past weddings! Congratulations to Sara + Aaron!

Amy Ann Photography

I aim to capture moments and expressions that tell the story of a day, and are authentic to the people involved. If you can look at a collection of images I’ve taken of a total stranger and get a feeling for who they are and what they felt, then I’ve done my job!
