I got together with Shirley + Kyle for their spring engagement on a quiet Thursday evening in mid-March. Shirley is the sister of a friend of mine, and they look a lot alike, so spending time with Shirley and Kyle was like hanging out with old friends. Having met while in undergrad at Ohio State, they knew they wanted to visit the campus for the first part of the session. We picked a day during spring break to take advantage of the quiet campus – it felt like we had the place to ourselves! I really loved the bare branches of the trees on the Oval! From there, Shirley and Kyle did a quick change of clothes – but still casual and comfy – and we met up in German Village for the second half of their session. We found cute spots in the neighborhood, including a stop at the Book Loft, as the light went behind the clouds and the sky turned overcast. I am so excited for their January 2016 wedding!
