Sam + Chris: Columbus Ohio Summer Wedding at Jorgensen Farms

Sam and Chris’ summer wedding at Jorgensen Farms was so beautiful and perfect, and filled with so many adorable details! Each of them have creative backgrounds, so it was only fitting that were so many personal touches throughout their wedding day. They also lucked out with a picture-perfect sunny day! But more than that, their day was filled with love – for eachother, and their families. In fact, I shot her sister Steffi’s wedding just a few months prior in February; it was so nice to see so many familiar faces again! (My March 2013 couple Mallory + Clay were there, too!)

The entire day was in one place, at Jorgensen Farms, which made the whole day so laid back and easy. Jorgensen Farms is only about a mile from my house, and is one of my favorite venues in the Columbus area! It has such beautiful grounds and so much space to work with. Sam and Chris chose to get married under a large tree, and their reception continued in the indoor barn area and the attached tent.

As the sun began to set during dinner, they didn’t mind going out for a few more pictures in the warm light. Sam and Chris strongly value photography – in fact, they take some beautiful pictures themselves – so it’s such a treat to work with a couple who appreciates it as much as I do! My assistant Jennifer and I had such a great time and loved capturing every moment, all the way up until the sparkler exit after the sun set!

By the way, check out those amazing flowers by Eco Flora – she does it again!

Thank you to Jennifer Stone for second shooting!

Amy Ann Photography

I aim to capture moments and expressions that tell the story of a day, and are authentic to the people involved. If you can look at a collection of images I’ve taken of a total stranger and get a feeling for who they are and what they felt, then I’ve done my job!
