Liz and Nick live here in Columbus, so that’s how we met. When they got their engagement pictures back, and they decided to hire me for their wedding! I couldn’t be more thrilled. An oceanside summer wedding with two of the kindest and cutest people ever? Sign me up!
Their wedding day started with a first look down the street from their venue, and we got all the pictures out of the way, with the sound as our backdrop. Just when I thought the day couldn’t get any better… they went and had an UNPLUGGED CEREMONY! (My first ever! If you want to learn more why unplugged ceremonies rock, click here!) They wrote their own vows, which were incredibly sweet. Then, over halfway through the outdoor ceremony, it began to sprinkle! Liz and Nick were protected under their chuppah… their wedding party and guests, not so much. (I hid my camera under the table with the programs for a few minutes.) But soon the ceremony concluded and it was back indoors to party!
Liz and Nick brought a piece of Ohio back with them: they served three flavors of Jeni’s as dessert!
