Sumner and Barbara really tried to have an engagement session in Cleveland. We tried for two different days – both days rained out! So, for the couple, who reside in Washington, DC, it worked best to have our engagement session in town just a few days before their wedding here in Columbus. And as much as I love shooting in places that are less familiar to me, I have to say, it is so much fun to work together just a few days before the wedding! The comfort we established and the familiarity was still fresh when the wedding day came just two days later. We kept it simple and just visited the North Bank Park and the surrounding area, and Sumner brought a guitar along to perform for Barbara. And I just came along to capture all their love!
