I always have a blast shooting at Camelot Cellars in the Short North, and I’ve always wanted to photograph a proposal! So when the opportunity came up to shoot a proposal at Camelot Cellars last Friday, I jumped at the chance!
Greg planned a date night with Marisa at Camelot Cellars, tasting wine and bottling their own to take home. I positioned myself across the room, at the bar, with my camera and zoom lens hidden, but ready to go. I have to say I was on pins and needles, and probably about as nervous as I can only imagine he would be!
Greg and the business owner, Janine, put together a wine bottle ahead of time with a custom label, that read: “Marisa, will you marry me?” After the tastings were done, Janine and Greg suggested they purchase a bottle to enjoy. When Marisa took a closer look at the bottle, she was in shock – but the pictures can show that better than words! Marisa did not notice me shooting from across the room, so I got some great expressions.
Congratulations to the newly engaged Greg and Marisa, and thank you for allowing me to capture your engagement!
