From the time we initially met, to our engagement session at the Columbus Zoo, I could not wait for Jenni and Travis’ Lancaster wedding! From everything she told me, I knew the day was going to be beautiful, and it certainly did not disappoint. Every detail was classic and colorful, and their barn reception hall was to die for!
I traveled down to Lancaster the morning of the wedding, and joined the girls at Jenni’s parents home. Once the girls were ready, Travis and the boys came over, and I staged their First Look at a large open field next to the house. Afterwards, we got a bunch of wedding party portraits both there, and at Little Brook Meadows, the site of the reception later in the day. The ceremony, at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church, was so meaningful; there were quite a few tears shed. After the ceremony, returned to Little Brook Meadows for the reception.
Little Brook Meadows is an old country barn converted into a reception hall, and it is absolutely gorgeous. In fact, it still maintains many of the original features of the barn and characteristics of its construction. Jenni and Travis treated their guests to some of the most delicious barbeque I’ve ever had, and yummy cupcakes in five different flavors for dessert. Their first dance was to “The Luckiest” which is a personal favorite of mine, because it was my first dance song, too!
