When I say I have a blast everytime I hang out with Brittany and Justin, I totally mean it. From our mini engagement session earlier this spring, to their colorful and laughter-filled wedding a few weekends ago, I find myself having a great time along with them! Their happiness is positively contagious, and their bubbly personalities were reflected in every scene and detail of the day.
I started with the girls getting ready at the Doubletree Hotel downtown, which was followed by their Catholic wedding ceremony at the breathingly gorgeous St. Leo’s Church in Merion Village, with *four* adorable flower girls!
Brittany and Justin budgeted a bunch of time to visit spots all over town, so I hopped in their limo and we got wedding party portraits at Dirty Frank’s Hot Dog Palace, the Ohio Statehouse (where they first met!), and Bicentennial Park. Brittany just looked dropdead gorgeous in her vintage-inspired gown, which was perfectly offset by her bright green shoes and green bouquet from EcoFlora Organic Flowers – one of my favorite florists here in Columbus!
When we arrived at The Vault, a gorgeous historic reception hall located in an old bank downtown, the room was decked out with the most adorable DIY details – centerpieces that were to die for – and a gorgeous and equally delicious cake. Their friends and family rocked the night away and I felt like I was celebrating right along with them!
I couldn’t be happier for Brittany and Justin, and I have to admit I’m a smidge sad that they are moving to Chicago this fall. Congratulations to one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever photographed!
